So I think I’ve come up with the next big thing: a cross between American Idol, Professional Sports, and a Dance Contest. This revolutionary new sport would be called VoteBall, as this descriptive title will help the less observant among us to understand what it’s all about…
In VoteBall, there would be a court with a goal on the end of one side and hip-hop music playing in the background (because everyone knows that hip-hop is awesome). In a match, each team would take a turn with the ball and would be responsible for choreographing the most incredible display of athletic talent using that ball, and at the end of their display, they would of course have to get the ball into goal; they forfeit the match if they miss.
Then, if each team has successfully scored a goal at the conclusion of their incredible displays, it would go into VoteBall Overtime! At this stage, viewers would call in and vote for which team was more awesome! The team that gets the most votes wins the match!
Pretty sweet, huh? It’s like social media + sports + hip-hop music; how could it fail? I submit to you that it cannot fail. It appeals to EVERY demographic except lame people! I fully anticipate investors to come banging down my door any second now for the chance to get at a piece of this bad boy!
